Quiet, unassuming rare book dealer Robert Seldon finds himself ensnared in a web of deceit, blackmail and violence as he tracks the missing ‘Ibiza’ letters for a collector of antiquarian books who may just have an ulterior motive. His quest brings him into conflict with a series of characters each more bizarre and menacing than the last across the seedy and superbly-drawn landscape of London on the eve of the Swinging Sixties.
