The Battle of the Atlantic was the longest continuous military campaign in World War II.

Liverpool was fundamental in the winning of the Battle of the Atlantic as it was home to the Western Approaches HQ.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary the Liverpool Echo has produced this book telling the story of the Battle of the Atlantic from the city's perspective.
