Description
Elevation: 215m. Not really a place to plan to stay overnight. More of a nice shed for eating your sandwiches when it's raining.

I always think that walking in such an awesome and spectacular place such as this brings out the philosopher and poet in me – unfortunately it only brings out hunger and the loss of words.

Arrived with sun floats down from a north-west-wind sky over a land of beauty clouds passing by.
Tir nan Og – land of the youth, fraoch is lochan is craobhan all in one view.
Night falls in surrounded by clouds sailing in darkness hunted from westerly wind soon. Meet the host of stars ruled by half faced pale moon shone its shadowy light from far beyond doom, lost in a cloudy daylight we leave.

The weather here is very good. Last week it only rained twice, once for three days and once for four days.

Have you listened to the earth? We have to hear with our hearts and it will speak in a thousand thousand small ways for it sends messages without words. It’s voice is the shape of a new leaf, the feel of a water worn stone or the colour of the evening sky, the smell of summer rain, the sound of the night wind – the earth whispers are everywhere.
Where is everyone on this beautiful day?

Be ye man or be ye woman

At the point of rest in the center of our being we encounter a world at rest in the same way. There – a cloud becomes a mystery, a tree a revelation, each human being a cosmos of whose riches we can only catch glimpses. The life of simplicity is simple, but it opens to us a book in which we never get beyond the first syllable.

Because the boys from the hydroplan
Are coming soon to build a dam.
Damn those boys from hydroplan!
The concrete mixers they will pour
The excavators they will roar,
The wilderness will be bought and sold,
Turned in to feed-in tariff gold.

As I was walking down the road
I saw a coo, a bull bi goad!
Unemployed, divorced and often pissed
I aimed low in life and missed!
