League Park

The history of the original home of the Cleveland Indians baseball team. League Park was a neighborhood baseball stadium much like Boston's Fenway Park and Chicago's Wrigley Field. It hosted many historic baseball moments including the 1920 World Series, Joe DiMaggio's 56 game hitting streak and Babe Ruth's 500th home run. It was also home to the Cleveland Buckeyes of the Negro Baseball League.
