Time-Life Library of Art: The World of Goya

Time Life Library of Art books are timeless and ageless. They are as valid as a reference now as they were when they were first published. They appeal to the reader whether a student of art or someone who has an ardent interest in the artist and the world the artist lived and worked in. The books are very appealing to the casual browser as the illustrations are many and of high quality and very well described. First published in second half of the sixties these books were published early 70's for distribution in the European market. Each book is written by an expert in its field, all who have a deep knowledge of the era the artist lived in and the work he produced. Each book in the series deals with the life and world of one artist and is a biography of the artist, his life and his world and reads like a story book. The books are about 190 pages long and richly illustrated with the artist's work from throughout his live including many rarely seen works. The books themselves are high quality books with strong boards and leather spines very well bound printed on high quality paper with the coloured illustrations on glossy paper and the colours are as vivid now as they were when first printed. These books were made to last and stand the test of time. There are as fresh now as they were when first printed with only minor maturity shown to the pages
