"Jew In Jail" is the true story of the nearly six years I spent incarcerated in various facilities within the New York state prison system as a result of my plea of guilty to three counts of Robbery In The Second Degree, which was directly caused by my past addictions to alcohol, drugs and gambling.
The book not only deals with the day to day aspect of my life while incarcerated, but also covers my attempts at rehabilitation from those addictions, as well as also trying to fend for myself as a "minority" behind bars, and would be a beneficial read for ANYONE who has ever been in the grips of such addictions or turmoil in their own lives.
