Ravenstone

HE DREAMED THE DREAMS OF HIS ANCESTORS . . . NOW THEIR DESCENDANTS WANT REVENGE.

For 10 years Jake Lalonde has searched for the origin of the mythological Raven, his family crest. Now he wants to know where in the world it ended up. But someone wants to stop him.

"Heroes Jake and Angeline make a winning couple, passionate as archaeologists and as lovers. When the stakes escalate to life and death, pitting them against an implacable adversary, they race to find answers hidden in petroglyphs, pendants, and a king's tomb. RAVENSTONE is a wild ride from the sea cliffs of British Columbia to the steamy mysteries of Tonga, and one that readers will thrill to." - Barbara Kyle (Thornleigh Saga)

"Intrigue, romance, duplicities, an ancient mystery: RAVENSTONE is captivating." - Edgar Award winning author T.J. MacGregor

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

RAVENSTONE was inspired by a trip I took to the South Pacific island Kingdom of Tonga, where my husband and I were members of an archaeological expedition directed by Dr. David Burley of Simon Fraser University. My experiences and memories of this visually stunning and culturally rich country set the scene for this novel. The title came from a random search of a giant version of the Webster's unabridged dictionary when I was looking up something else, and came across the word "Ravenstone," which means "a place of execution."
